We don’t have to see eye-to-eye in order to walk hand-in-hand.
People come to the Congregational Church of Northridge from many faith backgrounds, including many who’ve had their first church experience with us. Some of us are married, others are single or divorced, some of us are gay and others are straight, some vote Republican and some vote Democrat.
This is a church that is actively engaged in our community, that takes its faith seriously, and that enjoys being together. We are a Christ-centered church with a celebratory worship style that takes Scripture seriously without being legalistic.
Look around this Northridge church and you’ll see an engineer, teacher, student, lawyer, stay-at-home mom, between-jobber, retired folk, physician, social worker, real estate broker, factory worker, computer programmer, and more.
You will see people from all over the world including Jamaica, Japan, Canada, France, Vietnam and the Philippines.
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
1 Corinthians 12:27
Our Vision How do we see ourselves as a community of Christ?
“We are a Christ-centered community that warmly welcomes all people who desire a relationship with a life-enhancing, vibrant Church. Our faith is guided by the Bible and led by the Holy Spirit to impact lives by working for the care and growth of our members and toward the betterment of our neighborhood.”
